March 11, 2010: WMHT- A Discussion with Drs. Darling and Paty

Current Events

The Center for Vascular Awareness and doctors R. Clement Darling III and Philip S.K. Paty participated in a call-in edition of WMHT-TV's Health Link focusing on the vascular disorders: deep vein thrombosis [DVT] and peripheral arterial disease [PAD].

The program served to raise awareness of this significant health threat, identified who is at risk and discussed preventative measures. We also examined the diagnosis and treatment of both disorders.

The program was broadcast live on Thursday, March 11, 2010 on WMHT-TV at 8:00 p.m.

This was a live call in show and viewers were able to ask the doctors questions live on the air.

Questions were also solicited from WMHT's Health Link facebook page.

The program is available to watch on the WMHT website.

This website offers all levels of access to information relating to vascular health. We currently publish a vascular health journal, V-Aware, and soon will be offering outreach programs to the public. The Center for Vascular Awareness hosts quarterly Albany Vascular Roundtable meetings to the medical community. Please feel free to contact us to obtain additional information.
